North Castle Hills Directory Coming in 2025

The North Castle Hills HOA is pulling together the information needed to produce a neighborhood directory. Many thanks to those who took the time to fill in their contact information online. Our block captains will be visiting residents in January to verify information for those who didn't get a chance to submit their information electronically.

Political Signs Should be Removed from Front Yards

With the 2024 election being concluded two months ago, we would ask that those who still have political signs in their yards to kindly remove them. The North Castle Hills Deed Restrictions (section VIII), which all residents agreed to abide by when they purchased their homes, prohibit any type of yard signs other than those used for real estate sales or builder signs used during construction. However, a Texas law enacted after the North Castle Hills HOA adopted its deed restrictions does allow political yard signs.

Texas law states that an HOA cannot prohibit political yard signs but it also prohibits political signs from going up earlier than 90 days before an election and the signs must be removed within 10 days after the election. That means that by Nov. 16, political signs should have been removed from your yard. State law also allows an HOA to remove signs if the homeowner does not at the prescribed 10 days after an election.

Thanks much for your cooperation and respect for your neighbors.
